Summertime memories last a lifetime! While families are taking a break from the school-year routine, it is a great time to support what children have been learning all year in a relaxed environment with a lot of time in the great outdoors.
“Let the children be free; encourage them; let them run outside when it is raining; let them remove their shoes when they find a puddle of water; and, when the grass of the meadows is damp with dew, let them run on it and trample it with their bare feet; let them rest peacefully when a tree invites them to sleep beneath it's shade; let them shout and laugh when the sun wakes them in the morning…”
Our summer camp program engages all of the senses to ensure that children stay connected to the sciences, mathematics, art, athletics, and reading through hands-on experiences. Of course, many of these activities take place outdoors where children can soak up the sun while they continue to learn. No summer learning loss and a whole lot of fun!
Each session includes performing arts based on classic children’s stories, academic enrichment, lots of outdoor time, and breakfast, snack and lunch each day (parents may also provide meals for their children if they wish).
