The Programs at Bergen-Lafayette

Our summer camp programs engage all of the senses to ensure that children stay connected to the sciences, mathematics, art, athletics, and reading through hands-on experiences during the summer months.

Our Primary classroom encourages the students to work in a self-directed manner through a combination of whole-group circle time, small group or individual teacher-guided lessons, and collaborative and solo opportunities.

Our weekly parent/child early learning classes are designed specifically for the youngest learners from birth to 2.5-years-old. Classes are taught in 3-week sessions and families may join at the beginning of any new session.

Our Toddler classroom recognizes that these young learners are active and that they are soaking up everything around them. The carefully prepared classroom guides children to regulate and strengthen their skills.

Our Elementary classroom harnesses peer collaboration across ages 6–11 to foster deep learning through a combination of teacher-guided lessons, student-driven group inquiry, and self-directed study.

Our infant classroom is a stimulating, age-appropriate environment for the youngest learners to experience spoken and written language (English and Spanish), sensorial engagement, and freedom of movement in a nurturing place.
